An award winning illustrator, Danawi is the founder and creative director of Illozoo | the visual communication agency representing illustrators, animators, photographers and designers globally and collaborating with major corporations. He is also a professor of illustration at the Savannah College of art and design since 1997 where he continues to teach classes in poster design, advertising, business practices, digital and traditional illustration and creative conceptual solutions. He has chaired the illustration dept. from 1997-2002.
Danawi was selected to be included in Archive’s 200 Best Illustrators Worldwide and the ADDY awards.
Danawi was named Triple Threat: Illustrator, Teacher, and Visionary by CMYK magazine. USA, and Professor and Illustrator with Global Aspirations by Applied Arts, Toronto.
